I guess he's funnier in person than on paper. This book could be a coffee table book because of it's interesting pictures, but I would also pick it up and read it too from time to time. 1, well laid out, to save you the stress of buying four volumes. Yes, he had some horses in his later years and he is quite the known gambler and handicapper(lets give him credit where credit is due. The result felt shallow and rushed - at least to me.
