This guide was very detailed on the Haleakala portion and decent enough for the Road to Hana, pointing out many of the highlights of the trip. I skipped or scanned over a lot of description as I read. Their first meeting was on the roof of a New York City apartment building during a war between immortal beings. Fearing that they might conspire to conceal in their translation the true meaning of the Scriptures, Ptolemy separated them from each other and ordered them all to write the same translation of all of the books. I would recommend this book for people who do not have a lot of knowledge of the region.
